Swap Studio provides separate APIs for character replacement, motion transfer, head replacement, hairstyle replacement, and clothing replacement. Each operation runs asynchronously.

Integration workflow

  1. Read the feature reference for supported input types, models, and parameters.
  2. Create a task using your API key.
  3. Save the returned task ID and poll the result endpoint documented for that feature.
  4. Download the output when the task completes. If creation fails, inspect the business response code and message before retrying.
Character Swap and Motion Swap have distinct meanings: Character Swap replaces a person in a scene; Motion Swap uses a driving video’s movement to animate a reference character.

Version compatibility

For Character Swap and Head Swap, refer to the Character Swap V5 and Head Swap V5 documentation. When migrating from V4, follow the V5 request and response contracts instead of substituting the version number in a V4 request.

Billing and errors

Models, input limits, resolution choices, and billing depend on the selected operation and model. See each feature reference for billing rules. The business response code 1000 indicates a successful API request; a successful task-creation response does not indicate that generation has completed. See Error Codes for authentication and account errors.
